Trip: Tenderness & Rage Exhibition
At The Wellcome Collection

On Saturday 17th October 2026, Queer Theatre visited the Wellcome Collection for a special private guided tour of Tenderness and Rage, an exhibition exploring HIV and AIDS through stories of activism, protest, compassion and care.

Through powerful photography, film and archival materials, the exhibition examined the experiences of those affected by HIV/AIDS, from the UK epidemic of the 1980s and 1990s to the global fight against stigma and inequality today.

Special thanks to Solange and Anya for leading such an insightful and thought-provoking tour, and to everyone who joined us for an afternoon of learning, reflection and connection with fellow LGBTQIA+ creatives.
