The Show People Podcast
with Rosie Jones & Andrew Keates

Wednesday 10th May 2026
Two Brewers, Clapham

The award-winning Show People Podcast with Andrew Keates continues its live monthly residency at The Two Brewers with a very special guest: Rosie Jones.

On Wednesday 10th June 2026, one of Britain’s most distinctive, fearless and much-loved comedy voices joins Andrew Keates for a special live recording and an intimate, in-depth conversation about a remarkable life and career across comedy, television, writing, acting and activism.

Rosie Jones is a household name in British comedy, and she is well on her way to national treasure status. Alongside her award-winning stand-up, Rosie has become a familiar and vital presence on UK television, known for her sharp wit, bold honesty and refusal to make herself smaller for anyone.

She has fronted her own Comedy Central series Out of Order, starred in Channel 4’s powerful documentary Am I A R*tard, and led two major travel series, Mission: Accessible and the BAFTA-nominated Trip Hazard. In 2025, she became the creator and star of Channel 4’s comedy-drama Pushers, a six-part series based on her original short Disability Benefits, further cementing her place as one of the most exciting and necessary voices in British television.

Her acting credits include primetime dramas such as Silent Witness, Casualty and Call the Midwife, while her appearances as herself have made her a regular favourite on some of the UK’s biggest entertainment shows, including Taskmaster, Live at the Apollo, QI, 8 Out of 10 Cats and The Last Leg.

Beyond performing, Rosie is an accomplished writer across several mediums. She co-wrote Pushers, has contributed to Netflix’s Sex Education, and has become a bestselling children’s author with her Amazing Edie Eckhart series, praised by Jacqueline Wilson as “fresh, funny and ultra cool”. Her first non-fiction book, Moving On Up, a guide for young readers on bullying, friendship and resilience, was released in 2024.

Under the direction and hosting of Andrew Keates, The Show People Podcast has earned a reputation for making guests feel comfortable enough to be truly open, not only about their successes, but also about the struggles, pressures and challenges that come with building a life in the performing arts.

This promises to be far more than a celebration of Rosie’s extraordinary career. Expect an honest, funny, intimate and revealing conversation about comedy, disability, ambition, representation, resilience, visibility, writing, television, and what it means to keep taking up space in an industry that too often asks people to apologise for who they are.

For anyone who loves comedy, television, writing, performance, or wants a truthful look at what it really takes to build a bold, boundary-breaking creative life, this is an evening not to miss.
