OutCast: London’s Showcase of Queer Actors & Writing | Autumn 2026

Wednesday 25 November 2026 · The Two Brewers, Clapham

Queer Theatre’s hugely popular OutCast Showcase returns for one final time in 2026: an unmissable evening celebrating Queer actors, writers, stories and those who love them.

OutCast brings together some of the most exciting artists from across the Queer Theatre community for an evening of bold new writing, rediscovered queer work and LGBTQIA+ classics that continue to speak powerfully to who we are today.

Directed by award-winning theatre director and Queer Theatre Artistic Director Andrew Keates, the showcase will feature a company drawn from our Acting Classes for LGBTQIA+ People, Queer Play Reading Club and wider creative community.

Expect an eclectic evening of comedy, drama, joy, heartbreak, desire, defiance and everything in between: vivid snapshots of queer lives, performed by queer artists in front of the community that has helped nurture them.

But OutCast is much more than a showcase. Since its launch, it has become an important platform for LGBTQIA+ performers and writers to develop their work, be seen by theatre professionals and perform material that reflects their identities and experiences.

Previous OutCast evenings have brought together packed audiences of LGBTQIA+ people, allies, casting directors, agents, producers and other industry professionals - proving again and again how powerful it can be when queer stories are placed centre stage and queer artists are given the space to tell them.

Whether you work in the industry, love discovering new talent, want to support LGBTQIA+ theatre-makers or simply fancy an extraordinary night of queer theatre, we would love you to join us.

There are only 100 tickets available and previous OutCast showcases have sold out.
Early booking is strongly advised.

We create spaces to tell Queer stories and nurture Queer talent - and our mission is to ensure no Queer creative need ever spend a week alone again.

We do this with our weekly Acting Classes For LGBTQIA+ People, London’s OutCast Showcase of Queer Actors and Writing, monthly Queer Play Reading Club, The Show People Podcast LIVE, Luvvie: The Party for Queer People in the Performing Arts, industry workshops, masterclasses, and many trips and adventures.

Make sure you visit our What’s On page to see everything available for you to join.
