Newsletter: July with Queer Theatre
There’s so much to be proud of this month. We marched at Pride in London and will be marching at Trans+ Pride London, we welcome celebrated playwright Alexi Kaye Campbell to our Queer Play Reading Club, have a very special screening of February’s OutCast showcase (with pizza!), we’re preparing for the OutCast showcase of Queer actors and writing at the end of the month, and continuing our weekly acting classes for LGBTQ+ people.
If you’re passionate about LGBTQ+ theatre, whether that be as a writer, performer or audience member, there’s a way to connect with us this July. And every time you show up, it helps us do more.

2B: Acting Classes for LGBTQ+ People
Every Monday | 6:30pm – 9:30pm
📍 Two Brewers, Clapham
London’s most popular weekly acting class created exclusively for LGBTQ+ people — and it’s become a real community hub for queer actors of all levels.
Whether you’re a seasoned professional or trying acting for the very first time, 2B offers a bold, supportive space to explore character, connection, and queer identity through improvisation, storytelling and devised work. This month, we’re collaborating as an ensemble to develop original queer material that’s dynamic, authentic and unapologetically us.
We’re now working towards discovering LGBTQIA+ material and exploring queer stories to present at our OutCast Showcase on 25 July 2025 – a chance for our community to take the stage and share what we’ve been building together.
☕ Free tea, coffee and snacks from 6:30pm
🎭 Class runs 7pm–9:30pm
🍸 Social drinks and drag DJ Amy LaQueefa after class until 2am.
