Queer Theatre announces 25-strong cast for OutCast Summer Showcase
Queer Theatre has announced the cast for its OutCast Summer Showcase of Queer Actors & Writing, returning to The Two Brewers, Clapham, on Wednesday 29 July 2026.
Following the success of previous sold-out showcases, this summer’s OutCast will bring together 25 LGBTQIA+ performers for a night of new writing, rediscovered work and queer classics, all directed by award-winning theatre director and Queer Theatre Artistic Director Andrew Keates.
The cast features Saif Ahmed, Rudra Bharadwaj, Josh Blake, Sid Cal, Sakshi Chander, Gopala Davies, Harry Drane, Matilda Dyer, Thomas Finch, Driscoll Green, Matthew Hodson, Thiago Jones, Avital Kagan, Leo Keyter, Sophia Kleanthous, Jazzy Leib, Kyle Matson, Eduardo Peres, Harriet Phillips, Sam Purcell, Finn Sheehan, Grace Statton, Enrico Volpi, Ned Wakeley and Rebekah Williams.
Drawn from Queer Theatre’s Acting Classes for LGBTQIA+ People, its Queer Play Reading Club and the wider Queer Theatre community, the showcase brings together emerging talent, returning favourites and established performers for an evening that puts LGBTQIA+ actors, writers and stories centre stage.
OutCast has fast become one of Queer Theatre’s most vital platforms. More than a showcase, it is a celebration of queer performance in all its range: new voices, overlooked writing and LGBTQIA+ classics that still speak powerfully to who we are now.
Audiences can expect vivid, intimate and urgent snapshots of queer life in all its beauty, mess, humour, rage, grief, desire and joy, performed in front of a packed room of LGBTQIA+ audiences, allies and industry professionals.
Andrew Keates said:
“OutCast is one of the things I’m proudest to have built with Queer Theatre. It gives LGBTQIA+ actors the chance to be seen, heard and celebrated in a room full of people who understand the power of our stories. This cast is thrilling. It brings together performers from across our community, from emerging artists to experienced professionals, and I cannot wait for audiences and industry guests to see what they can do.”
OutCast Summer Showcase of Queer Actors & Writing takes place at The Two Brewers, Clapham, on Wednesday 29 July 2026. Doors open at 7pm, the show starts at 7:30pm, and tickets include access to The Two Brewers’ late-night cabaret and DJ event until 2am.
